Excellent house! Perfect for our trip to Southport for a weekend dance event. US travelers will need to figure out switches and pull cords and there is not a dryer in the house as listed but there is a microwave which is not listed. We fully enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again!

We were a family of 20 coming together for a family gathering in Southport. It met all our requirements and was very comfortable throughout. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The bedrooms were all set out really nicely and decorated well. The bedroom at the very top of the house could do with a dark blind fitting on the window. The master bedroom is huge and very comfortable. We used the hot tub and everyone enjoyed it. We had a couple of issues while we stayed in the accommodation and the host was very responsive and very helpful each time. There is a step down from the hallway into the dining room, this needs highlighting to stop accidents from happening! Maybe some yellow tape to highlight the step, would be good. We enjoyed our time in the house and would definitely recommend it and would possibly return for future family gatherings.

The property was spotlessly clean with everything that you could need. Only improvements that I could recommend would be an extra fridge as we struggled for space and a couple of sun loungers for when weather is nice and you just want to sit comfortably in the sun.

Had the most wonderful week at marine house, close to everything, house spotlessly clean, facilities good, comfy beds, plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery, everything you needed. Dining area was a little tight, but there was 19 of us, showers were hit and miss for some, sometimes running cold, lounge area could do with a couple of lamps as opposed to the big lights on the ceiling, just what we thought anyway, lord street close by as is the front, great communication from owner all along, would definitely reccomend and will return if going to southport

We really enjoyed our stay at marine house for a family get together 15 adults and 4 children and 2 babies. Plenty of space, clean, comfortable beds, and great location. We had fantastic communication from booking to leaving. And had a query on the central heating resolved promptly. Overall a great place for large groups and really recommend. Only a couple if items for feedback 1. The temp of the hot tub declined each day with no instructions to bring back to temp. We did cover when not in use. Day 2 afternoon was then unusable 2. No recycling bins. There is just 1 general waste large wheelie bin out the front. The house guide referenced recycling but in the bin section only detailed the bins at front 3. Showers went hot and cold when in use. 4. Sofas in living room not very comfortable. Understand they are sofa beds but not great to sit on for any period of time.

What a fantastic weekend we had. We were a group of all women and enjoyed every minute. We used a local take away on the Friday night and had pizzas delivered and they were responsible price and very good quality. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We spent time in the hot tub and enjoyed a great weekend with lovely friends would highly recommend it so much so we have already booked again for next October. If I had any negatives it would be we couldn't get the radiators on in the bedrooms but we don't know if that was something we were are were not doing or there was a fault because the rest of the house was lovely and warm Yes definitely get friends and family together an enjoy we didn't even go out we stayed in and enjoyed each other's company

We had 12 adults and 3 children staying at Marine house for a family reunion. The house was perfect. Immaculately clean, well equipped with everything you could imagine. Beds were so comfortable and rooms had en suites. Great dining room. Hot tub was a wonderful addition, perfectly clean and warm. Great location, not far from the attractions of Southport, crazy golf and lovely restaurants. Great communication from the owner, with clear manual at the entrance. We have just come home after a wonderful weekend in Marine House . I booked it for my family to celebrate my 75th birthday.and because I was born just around the corner from the house. We found the house very comfortable,spacious and in a good position for occupying everyone from 9 months to 83 years old even though the weather was not the best. Julie also kindly allowed us a couple of extra hours leisurely checkout time because no one else was going in that day. The only downside was that the hot tub was not warm on either days.!, This was disappointing because we had 3 teenagers with us who were all geared up to spend time in the hot tub. However.it really didnt spoil the weekendand we are now thinking of an excuse to come back to celebrate something!,,,,!

A really great place to stay on a golf trip. Loads of space but enough shared space for the group to enjoy some social time. Near a great pub and a top restaurant as well. We used the kitchen to make breakfast one day and it was cracking. Great pans!

I have booked large houses for 20 plus people for the last 5 years in Wales, and Cumbria, so I seen Marine house and it sounded perfect with a perfect location. And I wasn't disappointed on first look it was good for parking the drive fitted 2 cars on and across rd was plenty of spaces to park more cars if needed in the pay and display. The property was over 5 floors and it was spotlessly clean, it was very well equipped in fact the best I've ever had over the years the bedrooms most with on suites was nicely decorated and the beds had crisp clean bedding on and was all comfortable. There was towels in each bedroom also white and clean. The lounge was a nice size and 3 couches was clean and no stains. We enjoyed the Hot tub outside and there was plenty of bence tables outside too. We was a 5 minute walk from everything, shops food and the Beach. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. The only negative I had is despite hot tubgarden rules stating only plastic cups outside there was None in the property, other than that and No pizza cutter, there was absolutely everything else you needed and all in good condition. I wanted to take the Range oven home lol. WiFi was very good. I would personally have liked more twin beds rather than doubles. I would absolutely use this property again, and recommend it to others.

Marine House gets an easy 5 star rating from me Firstly, and most importantly to my family, the whole house was immaculate. Every single room. Crisp white bedding and the most comfortable beds. Its an 11 bedroom, 10 bathroom house with a hot tub in the garden. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to Lord Street, a few minutes walk to Funland Arcade on Marine Drive and all the other attractions on the drive. We were very lucky to book the same weekend of the Southport air show didnt know this when we booked and we watched most of the air show from the front step there how good the location is. We were worried about parking spaces but there was no need to. 16 in our party 4 young children and we came in 7 cars. We all go parking directly outside the property. Finally, the host Julie is lovely. Great communications and a really personal service. I would 100 recommend Marine House. We are definitely coming back
