Weve had a wonderful week in this beautifully renovated holiday cottage. Everything has been thoughtfully considered, with exceptional attention to detail throughout. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the welcoming touches made us feel at home straight away. The quality toiletries and luxurious towels were much appreciated, and the kitchen was one of the bestequipped weve ever experienced in a holiday cottage. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was a real treat, kept immaculate with daily maintenance. The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were also lucky with the weather, which allowed us to make the most of this lovely area. What a brilliant holiday we had at Vine Cottage. Karen and John were excellent hosts and would do anything to make you feel at home. They left a very ample basket which we very much appreciated. Vine Cottage is decorated to a very high standard and had lots of smart TVs and Game consoles for the children. The hot tub was a great treat and even if rained you would be dry as it was covered in. The gardens were great for outdoor entertainment and dining. The village was great for Fleetwood, Morecambe, Lancaster, Blackpool and St Anne's as they were only a few miles away. We had a fantastic Easter break at Vine Cottage and couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming, cosy and well thought out l. Karen and John were so welcoming, which made it even more special. The hot tub was a real standout, nicely covered, very private, and perfect whatever the weather. The cottage itself is finished to a high standard and stocked with everything you might need. The added touches like robes, towels, flip flops, salt, pepper, tea, sugar and the handy forget me box really set it apart. The location is great too, with lovely walks nearby and a local shop and pub within easy reach. We had such a lovely stay and would happily recommend Vine Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing break. Well definitely be back!

Vine cottage is an excellent house for any family or friends visiting the North West of England. It is set in the quiet village of Pilling and is great for exploring the area with Lancaster and the South Lakes to the North and Blackpool to the South. The cottage has all the facilities and great outdoor seating area not to mention a lovely hot tub which was well maintained by Karen and John the very welcoming owner's. I can thoroughly recommend Vine Cottage to anyone.

A fantastically equipped property for 3 generations. This property comes with the personal experience. Karen and John have thought of everything. The moment you arrive you are personally hand the keys and shown the property. There's a welcome hamper that goes above and beyond. The house is spotless and gives that new house feel, the carpets are still fluffy. Then as you settle in to the home and start to cook and use the kitchen, it is made so easy by a extremely well equipped kitchen. 6 days I cooked a full English breakfast for everyone and on sunday a full pork roast dinner with amazing crackling created in the oven. Extra cutlery and crockery, so just put dishwasher on and relax. Get your robe on and go outside enjoy the under cover hot tub, no matter the weather. Sit on the sofas cozy up in a amazing smelling blanket and play the many games that are provided. There are tonnes of days out in the area, for all ages. Or if you want to relax and stay around the village. Loads of pushchair walks for young kids on a morning. Great chippy for those cheat nights, and many more options in the village over, excellent Chinese. You must try Wallings icecream Personally, I recommend the warm waffle and ice cream. Thanks so much Karen and John. You've done an excellent job creating a home away from home.

Our second stay at this superb property did not disappoint. Exceptionally clean, well equipped and warm property with owners who cannot do enough for you. This has become our go to property for a tranquil and relaxing break in a lovely area. Greeted by an excellent welcome pack you can want for nothing here. We have used holiday cottages every year for 26 years and this is the first time we have returned to a property which says it all really, thoroughly recommended.

Just perfect. The cottage is so beautiful, the owners have gone above & beyond to make guests feel welcome, its light and airy, spacious yet cosy, with some lovely extras wine, bead, milk, crisps.... From the moment you step through the door you find fabulous open plan space to entertain, cook & share family meals, play games lots available TV with loads to watch & cosy up on the sofa or read a book in front of the log burner

WOW WOW WOW We stayed at Vine cottage for New Year and it was fabulous! We had a very warm welcome from Karen and John, the house had absolutely everything we needed, the welcome pack was a wonderful bonus and much appreciated. Hot tub was amazing, we struggled to get the Husbands out of it Everything we asked Karen and John for was provided and done quickly, nothing was too much trouble. We ventured out to the local pub about a 25 min walk ate and drank here, had a great afternoon, worth the visit. Will we be back?? 1000 yes! one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Karen and John are the loveliest hosts so needless to say, Vine Cottage is somewhere we will stay again and again!!

We loved our stay! We've stayed in a number of Sykes properties ever since getting our dog 6 years ago and have to say this is our favourite. The house was immaculate! I was a little concerned about our dog being able to get through the large gaps in the gates but karen had a fix for this and panels were put on the gate straight away to close the gaps, with these the garden felt very secure. The hot tub was lovely and it was great that it was under cover there were lights for when it was cloudy darker. Kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of crockery and different types of glassware. The butchers and bakery in knott end were great as was the Indian takeaway we'd recommend for sure. Also took a trip to billy Bob's for some great diner food. We're hoping to go back soon!

Firstly pulling up to vine cottage was a joyous moment due to its dominance and medieval feel due to the church being next to it. We were greeted by Karen & John like we were already friends so much so it felt like a warm hug. They were very understanding about our youngest sons special needs and made sure to make our boisterous 4 year old very welcome indeed by putting up the goal post and asking him questions to see if they could provide more for him. Vine cottage was big but homely with the love care and attention to detail that you can tell comes from a deep love of her Karens childhood home and we felt blessed to become a part of its rich tapestry. We found everything we needed and then even more, the kitchen has everything that you could possibly need and want, including a welcome basket full of goodies and some extra bits in the fridge. Due to how the home was set out we had space from each other aswell as unity that has brought us even closer than close as a family and we are already talking about the next visit to see Karen,John & vine cottage. We spent a wonderful week at Vine Cottage. Karen and John are a lovely couple who made us very welcome in their stunning cottage. Our 2 teenage granddaughters loved going back to a few hours in the hot tub after a busy day out exploring. Karen recommended The Flower Bowl entertainment centre and garden centre which proved to be a great day out . We are hoping to book again next year.

They were very knowledgable about places to go in the area and checked up on us by message to make sure everything was ok each morning. Karen also provided a lovely spa session which as a group of 7 girl students, we thoroughly enjoyed! The house was in great condition with lots of resources and had everything we needed to cook all 3 nights. This property was unreal! Karen really paid attention to the extra details required of a stay. We loved the fact it was her old family home and she had renovated it to the modern day, with the traditional features still present. Everything you could ever need was there for us and Karen was so accommodating and relaxed. I think she panicked when we told her it was a hen party lol but we were the classy kind of hen party and remained respectful to Karen and her home. The hot tub was amazing and the surrounding village was so cute too. A little out in the sticks and cell service is poor, but once you've stocked up on supplies and connected to the WIFI in the cottage the world is reset again! Fab stay, cannot recommend this place enough. I cant wait to have the opportunity to return in the future! Thanks again
