Having a few days away at this lodge, we found it to be just as described. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen area is well designed and equipped with everything you need. The livingtv area is cosy and the seating is comfortable. The main bedroom is lovely with a large ensuite, and the bed is so comfortable, didnt want to get up!!! Hot tub was a nice treat. A very tiny tiny niggle would be a bath mat, and oven gloves would be appreciated for safety. Thankyou for a nice break away.

We had a really lovely stay, location was brilliant! The lodge was very clean and comfortable, the surroundings was very beautiful and peaceful. Definitely could see the owners take pride in what they provide. Below are some recommendations but these are not meant as negatives. We could see that the property did need a refresh of decoration in some areas, some of the hot tub jets were not working, but this did not stop us enjoying this at the end of the day. Couldnt find any oven gloves but we did managed. We would highly recommend and would love to return one day.

Just returned from a weeks stay at Henry Haven. The lodge is lovely but there was a few things that could of improved the overall experience. Some of the jets in the hot tub didnt work. Creamwhite carpet in the main bedroom had a fair few stains on it, I did mention this when I messaged them about some other things but didnt get a response reguard this issue or the plates issues. Also the dinner set had a fair few chips on most of the plates etc, and 1 of them was dirty. Also the table by the TV in the living room had a leg support broken. I did message them and a guy did come and put tape pn it which did help whilst we were there. The slates on the main bedframe kept coming off making the mattress dipp in areas. Overall the places was lovely and tranquil but if the above issues were sorted it would make it that little bit better. We did enjoy our stay despite the above.

Had a lovely stay. The property was in a lovely area and had everything we needed for a few days. The built in bluetooth speakers were a big plus and the decor and fully opening doors to the balcony were perfect. We visited the local town which had some lovely shops and restaurants and I would recommend the farm down the road which had fresh milk and ice cream and you could feet the goats, sheep and llamas. Similar to some of the other reviews, the let downs were the smell in the main toilet it wasnt as though it hadn't been cleaned, it seemed like an issue with the drains and we were only provided with five towels which meant we each didnt have one for the hot tub and shower luckily we brought a few of our own. One of the hot tub jets also didn't work which meant whoever was in this seat was missing out. Overall we had a great stay and would return providing these issues were addressed.

The lodge is absolutely beautiful modern and clean. The location of this lodge is perfect so peaceful and so beautiful overlooking the pond and the fields of cows next door The hot tub is privately located and keeps a perfect temperature with a separate patio area. The lodge itself is modern and clean and has everything you need in the kitchen. Shops and a lovely village with pubs and bars close by makes this place a perfect place to stay. Myself and my friends loved our stay and didnt want to come home!

We had a lovely stay here. The location is absolutely beautiful and super quiet. The Lodge was really well equipped with everything you could need. Ample parking. The hot tub was lovely and super clean. The only negative thing I could say is that some of the outdoor furniture needs replacing.

Lodge was clean, modern and very well equipped. It was situated on a small lake with 2 other lodges. Very peaceful, you could hear and see only the wildlife when relaxing in the hot tub. Just what we needed. Hope to go again soon. New outdoor seating required as one seat was damaged, other than that we had a lovely stay.

Property was 5 star as listed this was not the case although it was clean in the kitchen there was damaged items which I took photos of so I would not be charged as it was not who damage them and the carpets were badly stained and there was an awful smell from the bathroom like stagnet water but we did not even use the bath one day we had men walking around trying to cut trees we had no notification and ended up been embarrassing as I was getting changed at the time and they were looking in it was not a retreat because the neighbours was constantly cutting his grass sorry but it was not worth the money I paid and certainty not 5 star it was very tired

We have had a fantastic 7 days at Henry Haven and would definitely think about coming back and would definitely recommend to others. It was a very spacious and luxurious lodge and we loved every minute of our stay. The surrounding area was so well maintained and waking up to ducks in the lake was amazing. The hot tub was a great addition too. Lovely to access it whenever we wanted. It felt home from home and we loved our little visits from the owners dog who my daughter loved playing ball with on the beautiful grass areas around. Weve just returned from a lovely break and couldnt be happier. The area itself is beautiful and peaceful a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The venue was great and had everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend and wed happily return!

Absolutely beautiful. We had the best stay at Henry Haven. The property was spotlessly clean, decorated to a high standard, peaceful and such a perfect setting. The only one thing I could say was they maybe need better pillows on the single beds but that a very minor issue. We will definitely be back

We had a 2 night stay and we couldnt make use of the facilities as the hot tub was not in use it was only half full the filled it up but wasnt hot enough to use so our plans that evening where ruined so we just sat infont of the tv with nothing to do. The lodge was generally nice there was thick cobwebs in the kitchen on curtain polls. They could also get some new bedding its quite thin and pillows are thin and lumpy

We had a fantastic long weekend at the lodge its an excellent place with great facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our preChristmas break here. The huge TV and sound system were brilliant for movie nights, the hot tub was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay and the lodge was cozy. However we were slightly disappointed that there was no tea, coffee and milk on arrival. There was also no instructions on how to use the kitchen appliances, or other equipment.

Loved our short stay at Henry Haven, very comfortable and well appointed, everything you could need. The Hot tub was the main reason we booked, after a bit of jiggling round the outdoor furniture, for privacy, we felt private but could look out onto the lake at the side of the property. The access drive you can see, is just to your property, so no one is passing by. It was a peaceful location, you need a car really, but if you are into walking, not too far into Garstang. Highly recommend, perfect for couples, would stay every month if we could afford it, was perfect, cant wait to go again!!

The standard of the lodge was top class , the setting was lovely and quiet . Thoroughly enjoyed our short break and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Amazing lodge! Very private and hot tub was tucked away so no one could see when you took the lid off. Very comfy bed and sofa! Very spacious. There is Bluetooth speaker built into the ceiling which we didnt discover until our last night but was amazing when we found it.

We are just home after spending 5 nights here and we were totally blown away. The cabin is absolutely stunning and immaculately clean, the owner has literally thought of everything and the decor is beautiful. Beds were super comfortable, hot tub was fantastic and the location is like a little piece of heaven. I'm already missing waking up the ducks and ducklings in the pond right outside the cabin. We had frequent visits from little Roxy the dog who we are all totally in love with and she made the stay really special especially for my young daughter. We stay in a cabin every year and this is by far the best one so far. So quiet and tranquil and everything you could ever want for a peaceful break away from the daily grind. Really lovely lodge in a beautiful peaceful location. Partner impressed with the 4k TV. I loved watching the wildlife. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Was a really relaxing break, which is what we'd hoped for.

Amazing location, log cabin was beautiful really clean had everything we needed. Only slight issue was the heating the first day we never had any hot water or heating and couldnt have a shower, then the second day the water completely went off for about an hour and again we couldnt have a shower and was delayed going out. Overall good stay.

We really enjoyed our weeks stay at the bowers. Everything was perfect and certainly the best cottage we have stayed at. The touching Anniversary balloon was a nice gesture as it was our golden wedding anniversary the day we arrived.Roxy the dog was an added bonus as it kept coming to meet us when we arrived back after a day out. Stayed Jan 2024. 3 Guests. Overall the accommodation was what we expected in that it was well presented, clean and tidy. Great location. We rated the stay 4 star due to the following Upon arrival accommodation was very cold, the heating was off. There are typed instructions for a number of things but the heating wasnt one of them. 3 guests and only 1 towel for the hot tub. No steps provided to gain access to the hot tub. No toilet roll holders in either bathroom. Only one bath towel. Only one toilet roll. No shower mat. Remote control for NETFLIX was broken. Not required though No instructions for operation of TV. No welcome pack, i.e. TeaCoffee and milk. Wouldnt mind paying an additional fee for that These little things make the difference. We would definitely use Sykes again, but would expect to see those minor details addressed. Attention to detail makes a more memorable vacation.

We really enjoyed our time there, it was very peaceful and relaxing. The lodge is warm, bright, and has all the equipment and facilities one would expect, plus a superb bluetooth sound system. The hottub is clean and obviously well maintained. The bed is very comfortable and the shower provide plenty of hot water. The only negative point is that we didn't find the sofa very comfortable but this might be more to do with us than the sofa.

After a bad experience is another stay we found the Bowers and booked last minute in a desperate attempt to get our break back on track! We both really enjoyed the peaceful stay at the Bowers & the lodge was impeccably clean & facilities spot on. Very comfortable bed, warm, good wifi & great hot tub! Would recommend to anyone and will be to my family!

This holiday lodge is really 5. Well fitted out with everything you need. It is in a beautiful quiet location overlooking a lake with ducks, ducklings and other wildlife. We found it spotlessly clean. Very convenient for Garstang and getting to the coast. Lots of pubs around with good food. Local supermarkets nearby. Great location with local shops pubs and takeaways only a couple of minutes drive and Blackpool was only a 25minute drive away which was perfect as we had children to entertain during the day. The lodge itself was beautiful and to a very high standard and the setting was just perfect so relaxing especially when soaking in the hot tub at night. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a relaxing quiet peaceful break.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. High finishes throughout. The darkened glass is amazing. The view is also just stunning with the ponds day and night. Ducks, geese family and many more. Also a cute dog called Roxy who we all adore. The hot tub was just perfect and well located. 10 out of 10. Ww would not hesitate to recommend this property and we will certainly return to it.
