I hate to write this as the interaction I had throughout the booking was amazing. This was my 3rd time I have been to the lodge and unfortunately it was my last. I love the location and how close it is to the beach its always been amazing but unfortunately the cleanliness has dropped since my first experience. Dog pee stains all over the bottom of the living room curtains, Big stains on one of the beds and duvet. Unkept maintenance of the outdoor seating. Dog smell throughout living room area. Broken gate where my dog could fit through and run out . Once again I do really hate writing this, as the people seem lovely , but I paid 650 to come for a week in end of November which is an awful lot of money . I dont want people forking out the same .
The inside was clean and very good the outside was poor dirty worn out in all ... The inside was clean and very good the outside was poor dirty worn out in all need a sanding and repaint, the plinth around the hot tub need making larger to stop anyone falling down onto the side path area if this work was done we would go back thanks i hope this will not upset you but it need looking at to benefit other users thank you

Lovely place to spend a week away from the hussle and bussle. Nice daily walks around the area and great places around to visit and finish off every evening in the hot tub.
Lodge and location were perfect for us, 4 adults and 2 dogs, lodge was spacious and well laid out, hot tub was lovely and checked regularly. Will definitely be booking again.

We had an amazing weekend away here for my best friends 30th. The cottage itself was beautiful, well equipped and clean. The hot tub was amazing, and the area was private and spacious. There was plenty of shops and restaurants near by with even the option for delivery! The beach was really close and beautiful, with plenty of places to walk! Thank you for an amazing stay, we will deffernatly be visiting again
The holiday cottage was relatively clean on the surface but we noticed a large pile of dog faeces next to the gate and decking which was very difficult to see to be fair, the pillows were flat old and poor quality especially in the double bedroom, the washing up brush was full of human hair and could not be used and the decking was unclean and slippy when wet. The windows on the outside needed cleaning too. The cottage as a whole was satisfactory and quite comfortable with everything u need for a weeks break in the kitchen but the plates needed re washing as they were dirty and unclean
We loved our holiday, totally secure for dogs,we had to go out and buy toilet rolls, there wasn't any, also bin bags, other than that fantastic.
The Lodge was nice, the living room and dining area were nice. However I think the rest of the lodge needs updating badly and it needs a major deep clean. There was a lot of dust and utensils and glasses werent spotless. The towels were very old. But regardless it was nice but that is all. I think there should have been some welcome instructions regarding the water and heating too. The hot tub was lovely.

This lodge has so much potential! The hot tub area with the lights is lovely, it comfortably sleeps 6 and has a lovely large living room area with a kitchen and dining area. The 2 toilets is also a huge bonus too, nice decking area and garden to use. The only thing is, the lodge was a little bit dirty! It was dusty, bits all over the floor, redorange stains on some of the bedding. Some of the utensils were broken and the oven and dishwasher were quite old to use, the glasses and pans were dirty too. We were quite happy to wipe everything down but the only thing we could use were quarter of a pack of kitchen wipes which isnt great when were cooking with raw meat. Check in time is 4 and check out was 930 which I know is needed to clean the lodge but it really only gave us 1 day there even though wed paid for 2 nights & 3 days. Its a nice area and a nice lodge but theres definitely room for some improvement.

Whilst the location was very good for walking and for access to the local beaches and close to local amenities, beds were comfy and the accommodation was generally good there were a few issues. We found an oven tray and plates with food stuff on in the cupboard, assume this was perhaps the previous occupant but would expect the cleaning team to check this on change over. The bathroom bins had not been emptied on our arrival and we found a collection of hair on two of the pillows on separate beds, not very good if they were just made and not changed from the previous occupants. The wooden structure above the hot tub also has a severe leak in several areas making a nice addition not an enjoyable experience if it was raining. Not nice having cold rain water drip on you whilst enjoying a relaxing dip in the tub. The decking to the front of the property wasn't cleared of leaves before our arrival there was quite a build up making the decking area extra slippery. A few small tweaks needed, perhaps a more thorough clean during change over a little tidy up out front and the hot tub roof being fixed.
