The village of Bolton by Bowland is within walking distance (10 minutes) and there is also the Coach and Horses pub and a garden centre with a cafe in the village. A short drive away (approx 6 miles) is Gisburn Forest famed for its mountain biking tracks and walking. Also nearby is Stocks Reservoir for a fun filled day of walking and fishing (day permits can be purchased). Head out to Clitheroe for a selection of amenities, sample the local shops and grab a bite to eat at one of the many eateries, there is a fine choice of award-winning restaurants in the area.
