Stable View Cottage is a cosy, stone-built cottage situated on the owner's farmland, nestling the fringes of Botlon-by-Bowland, in the picturesque Ribble Valley. This is the ideal escape for a couple seeking a romantic getaway or a small family of three looking to discover a varied holiday with plenty to see and do. Once you have explored the attractions of the surrounding area, return to find a horse and its rider show jumping in the manÃ©ge within the grounds or perhaps a wandering lamb in the field if you are visiting in the springtime. Step in through the patio doors and find this modern dwelling, where you can fully relax among fresh, muted colour schemes and lovely homely features such as picture frames and soft furnishings, making you feel at ease. Get together around the dining table for a delicious hot meal and later when you're doing the clearing up, catch glimpses of the ponies in the fields next door. Climb the stairs to bed after a tiring day and find a charming super king-size double room with zip/link beds giving you the option of a twin set up if you prefer. There is also a single room and a beautiful shower room waking you up each morning with modern fixtures. Step out onto the patio from the dining area and soak up a sun-filled day with a drink in hand and a good book to get your teeth into. Dip in the hot tub for a spot of luxury on a balmy evening and relax your muscles in the warm bubbles before enjoying a night in with your loved ones.You have a plethora of walking trails and bridleways close by for those who like to get out and about in the fresh country air. The surrounding Ribble Valley is a sight to behold, a wondrous region of natural beauty waiting to be explored. The village of Bolton by Bowland is within walking distance (10 minutes) and there is also the Coach and Horses pub and a garden centre with a cafe in the village. A short drive away (approx 6 miles) is Gisburn Forest famed for its mountain biking tracks and walking. Also nearby is Stocks Reservoir for a fun filled day of walking and fishing (day permits can be purchased). Head out to Clitheroe for a selection of amenities, sample the local shops and grab a bite to eat at one of the many eateries, there is a fine choice of award-winning restaurants in the area. You are also in a fabulous position for discovering all that the Dales and Lake District have to offer, with walking, cycling and other outdoor adventures. A superb holiday let!

We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 kids under 2 and it was the perfect location for a relaxing break. Horses, sheep and dogs on site which our little girl loved. The house is really comfortable, really clean and well equipped. The bed is like sleeping in a giant cloud! Location is good for days out and visiting the area. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again

Stable view cottage is in a very tranquil area of bolton in Bowland and the area is very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is very cosy clean and the beds are very comfy.It has some amazing views and is a good base to visit Hawes, Settle, Malham, Ingleton and several other places. We had a fantastic time and will return again. Thankyou to Claire and Peter.

Absolutely amazing 4 nights at stable view cottage, would 100 recommended it, perfect location, hot tub is lovely, views are stunning, owners very helpful and friendly, beds comfortable. Cant wait to return for another of hopefully many visits.

We as a family thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The owners were very warm and welcoming and offered support no matter how insignificant. The location was fab set in the beautiful ribble valley and nearby Yorkshire dales. We spent everyday walking, visiting the many activities and locations available. The hot tub was a particular treat our 9 year old daughter loved it and was in every day! The weather generally was kind to us. We recommend Stable View Cottage to anyone with a sense of adventure and a feel for the outdoors including a cosy night in with the wood burner aglow.

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful area. Spent a few days here, really enjoyed the cottage and it's setting on the stable yard. We were greeted by the host who was very welcoming. Loved seeing the horses and sheep just outside the window and having a chat with them over the garden fence! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay its very cosy & the hot tub was a great addition. The area is a hidden gem, very beautiful with plenty of walks and places to visit.

A beautiful Cottage in an idyllic area. Peace & quiet was our mission and we got that in abundance. Short drive to Clitheroe, Settle & Skipton. Plus many eateries just minutes away. We had a very pleasant short break at Stable View. It's well finished and furnished and we found it very comfortable for a couple. There's a small patio outside with garden chairs and a hot tub unused and a narrow strip of grass bordering the adjacent field.

A fabulous cosy cottage in a beautiful location with everything you need for a great stay. Parking space right outside for simple unloading and a lovely private courtyard with hot tub to relax in at any time of day. The owners are so helpful and friendly and took time to show us around their stables to meet their wonderful horses and dogs. We would thoroughly recommend and look forward to returning. Thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stable View Cottage with the hosts introducing themselves on arrival. The cottage was extremely cosy and provided us and our dog with all the comfort we required. We made use of the log burner on a couple of evenings due to the rather cold and wet weather in July and spent a lovely evening in the hot tub. For a working farm and equestrian center we were extremely impressed at how quiet our stay was. Our only very small niggle was the limited kitchen equipment. We do a lot of self catering holidays and always appreciate a well equipped kitchen. In particular the kitchen knives were rather blunt so invested in a couple. A casserole dish of some sort would also be very useful. Thank you to our hosts for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage and will certainly consider a return visit.

What a great cottage. Very spacious and comfortable and the private parking spot made loading and unloading the car very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, just what you need after a long day of walking around the beautiful countryside.

What a lovely cottage, in a beautiful setting. Lovely views all around, we were taken back by how beautiful this area was. The property was clean and well maintained, and comfy beds too. The hot tub was up and running when we arrived, in a lovely court yard garden. We had everything we needed. The owners, Claire and Peter, were extremely welcoming and kind. They had horses and ponies that we got to meet and a lovely foal that we enjoyed watching in the field. We got to meet a lovely litter on puppies that Claire and Pete kindly allowed us to cuddle. We would love to return again as it was so lovely and very relaxed.

Stable view cottage is a lovely little cottage with comfortable beds and everything you need for a lovely holiday . It was great to have plenty of bins in bedrooms and the bathroom and a dressing table and stool to get made up in front of little things but home from home things . Claire and Peter the owners were friendly and even let us look at the horses and the beautiful new born Shetland pony whenever we wanted . There was even a little of puppies!!! The setting is fantastic with lovely views, it was our first time in Ribble Valley but we will certainly be back as the little villages and views were fantastic. Pendle Hill is a must with panoramic views. All in all a brilliant holiday thank you Claire and Peter .

We spent Christmas at the cottage this year. It was amazing. The hot tub was brilliant...even in the rain. The location is great with a nice walk to the local pub. This was our second time returning and i font think it will be the last. Huge thank you to the owners for making it magical. My little boy loved feeding your horse's. Highly recommended

Yet again another fantastic stay at Stable View! A lovely spot, on a quiet site, and the cottage is simply fantastic! Plenty space downstairs, convenient if you have a toddler for them to play. Weve been twice now, and would happily book again next year in fact we probably will!

We had the most amazing stay at Stable View cottage. The place was clean and modern. The WiFi was fast and the superking bed in the main bedroom made all the difference. We came with our 2 year old and 10 year old and there was so much to do. Stable view is exactly right we saw the horses in the field and stables every day much to our kids delight. Claire and Peter were lovely and friendly however everything was amazing so we needed to ask very little. Would highly recommend! The Hanleys xx

We had the best time at stable view,Claire the host and her family were very welcoming the cottage had everything u need everything exceptionally clean couldnt fault , except a dishwasher haha but went back to hand washing, even though we didnt cook much , we took a little bbq for evening meals as the cottage was so relaxing and loved watching the girls horse riding, we definitely are going back to this cottage as we were 12 hr away from the 3 peaks and hawes ,2 lovely pubs near by too so see u again x

Beautiful location, own parking spot adjacent to property. Large, spotless Hot Tub with lights and adjustable temperature and jets. Near faultless on every front. My only suggestion would be to change the old style latches on the bedroom and bathroom doors, very noisy and fiddly to use at night. Otherwise, a wonderful week.

We had a really lovely time at Stable View Cottage. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so could enjoy being outside in the courtyard and little grassed area. The cottage is well equipped, and the bed is very comfortable. It is in a beautiful area and we would love to return one day.

Beautiful clean cottage with everything you could need or want. Hosts were lovely and very friendly they even let me bottle feed a newborn lamb which was on my bucket list.The hot tub was just lovely on an evening so warm and relaxing. Nice walks in the surrounding area. Pubs nearby were quite expensive we found for food.We visited nearby markets which had lovely fresh fruit n veg and local produce very tasty! We had a lovely relaxing week would highly recommend this lovely cottage stay to anyone. X

We loved this cottage, it has everything you could possibly need. It's setting is perfect, surrounded by countryside, and walks you can do straight from the cottage. It was nice to see the horses on the training ground. Claire, the owner was so nice and helpful, and the milk and biscuits was thoughtful for a cuppa on arrival. We had a lovely few days in the beautiful countryside the accommodation was just what we needed and expected everything to a high standard and all our needs provided for. Not being country folks we enjoyed seeing and hearing the horses. Sadly it was a bit too cold to use the hot tub. We found the best food at the nearby Spreadeagle pub in nearby Sawley We would recommend this holiday cottage
