Moorlands Manor Reviews

We absolutely loved our weekend at the manor, it is the most stunning place with so much to do and we had the most amazing weekend there celebrating! The house and grounds are really well maintained and looked after and the kitchen is really well equipped. The cinema room, games room and hot tub were particular highlights, although the whole house is great! I would 100 recommend Moorlands Manor!
Jacqueline

We had a absolutely fantastic stay, the hosts were welcoming, venue top quality and all the rooms were finished to a very high standard. Would come again
Excellent property. Lots of space for all of us to spread out, but also to come together. The young ones loved the games room and cinema, old ones the jacuzzi and bar. Great stay and would definitely return.
Rebecca

Malcolm
What an amazing property with superb facilities. We were a party of 17 and everyone was very happy and well entertained. The cinema room especially was brilliant for films, watching the grand prix and playing communal games. And the hot tub was on another level with so much room. The house made our family get together a huge success.
Wow , what a fantastic house ! From age 2 to 80 years , 22 of us celebrating my mothers 80 th Birthday , we all had a such a fabulous time .Making memories that will last forever. It really is as spectacular as it looks. You really couldnt want for anything more from the robes for everyone to the amazing spa , what fun we all had ! My 80 year old parents in the spa at midnight with a champagne toast listening to the Beatles, priceless . We loved it and would definitely return . Only thing that was suggested was perhaps a small gymn area not my me , by the keep fit fanatics. !
Excellent property , ideal for family celebration of fatherinlaws 90th birthday attended by 4 generations
Literally has everything to never leave the house ! 24 of us went and everyone was more than happy and gutted to leave , will 100 percent be back one day , such a beautiful place to stay you wont be disappointed if you book

Incredible property, we had a wonderful stay here
Ms Michele Jones
Just returned from our yearly large family gathering, 26 stayed made up of myself and 3 siblings , our children and grandchildren , aging from 2yrs to 60, a further 6 visited through out our week for days here and there, and wow what an amazing week we all had! From the moment you drive up to Moorlands you are blown away with its grandeur , the grounds look stunning and are kept well, and the house its self has the right amount of mix between traditional styles with modern finishes , The amenities are well catered for from small childrens toys and cinema room in the main house for smaller children and air hockey , pool take and football table for the older ones,in the more modern coach house ,the video machines screen needed maintenance but this was the only thing negative to report back and a minor hic up , once the pool jacuzzi was spotted the children soon forgot about this and never complained . The adults had nothing but good things to say about the whole house and grounds from relaxing painting in the summer house to watching football on the big screen with a cold beer, in massaging relaxer chairs in the cinema room having a lads night in the bar next door, relaxing in the sauna and chatting in the hot tub , then coming together as a family in the large kitchen to cook amazing meals for the 26 of us everything was there to hand, a few of us even learnt how to play the piano ! Its been a perfect end to summer for us , we all live in different locations through out the uk so building memories is very important for us all and as a family we would love to return . Thanks you to the lovely housekeeper Susie for always been on the end of the phone if we needed you. To the team who make sure moorlands is the wonderful experience it is with their maintaince and cleaning .Also huge thank to the host for allowing this beautiful house to be enjoyed , your communication before and after with all information and requests met, made it a really easy experience. Hope to visit again one day thank you

The location and facilities available are first class particularly for a group that includes adults and children of multiple ages. The hot tub and the games room were hits with all as was the large garden where the children could roam free in safety. All the roms were spacious and extremely comfortable. Certainly highly recommended for those who want a memorable holiday in luxurious surroundings. My compliments to the owners.
Mr Christopher Paton
This place was perfect and we really enjoyed our trip, thank you!
Mrs Yvonne Underdown
Wow, we were all bowled over by the beautiful setting and magnificent views the manor sits in. Then when you enter the Manor it truly takes your breath away. Stunning is an understatement. The vast rooms are homely with beautiful furniture. The facilities were brilliant especially for the children who loved having their own arcade. I cannot thank you enough for accommodating our party of 24 at such late notice. We all had a wonderful time and made great memories.
Mr Jon Hinson
Moorlands Manor what a fantastic property! We were a party of 19, family and friends celebrating my wifes birthday. The facilities were everything they were described to be. The bedrooms and living spaces were lovely and very well presented by the housekeeping team big shout out to Suzie. The spa and games room were a real hit. Many a late hour of pool, air hockey and table football competitions and some thoroughly relaxing spa time. Diane, the owner, was really helpful and responsive to our questions and provided a great recommendation for an independent outside caterer. Thoroughly recommend Moorlands Manor.
Mr Laurie Fletcher
A truly fantastic stay with real 'wow' factor! So much to enjoy from the very large hot tub, sauna, games room, cinema room and even a piano for the more relaxed moments. Inspired us to consider similar properties in the future, hopefully they're just as impressive.
Ms A Moore
Moorlands is such a beautiful house in a gorgeous spot with fabulous views! Perfect for a multigenerational family get together, the games room, cinema and huge hot tub were a particular hit with everyone. We are already planning our return! Thank you so much for a really wonderful stay.
Mrs iet Jennings
Moorlands is a fantastic house for families and friends to get together. There is something for everyone. The house is furnished to a very high standard. The robes provided to use to get in and out of the pool were much appreciated. The pool was amazing. It keeps its heat when in use. The gardens are large and very well maintained. Would love to stay again.
