Is Commons Farm Cottage in Wadsworth Right For You?

Discover why this cottage is ideal for different types of visitors

For Families
The cottage provides travel cot and highchair on request making it suitable for families with babies. However, the rural location with sheep nearby and no specific children's facilities means older children who enjoy countryside walks would be better suited. The hot tub requires adult supervision at all times.
For Couples
Perfect romantic retreat with private hot tub for two, spectacular countryside views from every window and complete privacy on a non-working farm. Stone cottage features exposed beams, original fireplace and south-facing patio. Two ensuite bedrooms offer luxury while excellent walking routes start from your door for peaceful countryside exploration together.
Pet Friendly
This cottage does not allow pets and has a strict no pets policy. The owners keep sheep on the non-working farm and have their own dog, making it unsuitable for visiting pets. The rural location and wildlife in the area also contribute to this policy decision.

Lovely clean cottage, superb views of the Calderdale valley and friendly owners. Good for walks/ running straight onto the moors.

We had a wonderful stay at Commons Farm Cottage. A warm welcome and a lovely welcome pack of goodies met us on arrival. The owners were very friendly and anxious to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is beautiful, extremely well equipped, smartly decorated, though in keeping with the character of the cottage and comfortable. I found the bed rather firm but my mum and partner were both very happy! The surrounding countryside was breathtaking, and there is a pub a 10 minute walk away, although we preferred the Robin Hood (5 mins in the car) for food. Nice and close to Hebden Bridge it is in an ideal location. Would definitely highly recommend.
