Ribble View Reviews

Really nice property with excellent facilities throughout. Lovely location with super views across the countryside. The location was perfect lots of nice local walks plus easy access to other areas such as the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton and Clitheroe. The owners were really helpful in answering a few questions quickly for us. Would definitely recommend and hope one day to visit again.
Disappointed. Lots of issues main one was no Internet throughout the stay.
Catherine
A really well thought out holiday cottage with lovely views of the fields and hills, you can even see Pendle hill. The cottage is clean, comfortable and warm, and the hot tubis great after a long walk. Theres a short walk with a right of way footpath, across the fields, to the pub in sawley by the River Ribble. Theres lots of nice walks in the area, you dont need to drive far and lots of great places to eat. Would highly recommend.
An excellent property which we would not hesitate to rent again. Great location to use as a base for activities and the hot tub is a great way to ease aches and pains at the end of the day. Both Sykes and the owner we a pleasure to deal with.
Fantastic property with stunning views. Didnt want to leave! The property is well equipped and there was a lovely welcome basket. Hot tub was lovely to relax in and gaze out over the fields. Towels, slippers and gowns were also provided.
Rachel
This is a great property and well equipped and maintained. The welcome hamper was a lovely personal touch that we enjoyed use of whilst there. Great base to explore the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Lovely location very peaceful and relaxing the hot tub was great to come home to at the end of the day. Only desirable item would be a couple of sun loungers in the warmer weather to relax outside. Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.
Amanda

There are ample towels and appliances and kitchen is well stocked with any utensil you could want. Highly recommend this stay to all. We had a fantastic stay at Ribble View. Amazing views, very high spec property. The welcome pack was a very nice touch. The hot tub was perfect...

We had a lovely stay at Ribble View. It was spotlessly clean. Really comfortable, and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The view is something else its just stunning! We will definitely be back
This was fantastic accommodation in a stunning setting with many wonderful walks on your doorstep and some excellent pubs too. As some people have already commented the Lshaped sofa is a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults. The only thing Id like to see added is a mop and bucket to clean the lounge floor.
Ribble view was a great base for us to explore the area while we were in north Manchester to attend an event. Everything you could need was provided at the property. The beds were super comfy and the wet room ensuites a luxury with robes, slippers and extra towels for the hot tub provided. One half of our party made good use of the hot tub even in the rain at the end of January! The only suggestion I would make is that the L shaped sofa is not enough for four adults to sit comfortably together in an evening. Ribble view was as the name suggests and it was stunning. Thank you to Kerry for a lovely stay. We hope to be back.
We came in the middle of January and we enjoyed every second and so did the dog. Very well equipped , had everything you could think of! Lovely walks around the area or even just on the farm by following the footpath they have marked out. The big window overlooking the fields and the sheep as well as the hot tub are a big bonus! We loved looking out at the sunset and the dog loved making friends with the sheep through the fence. Very Quiet and relaxing , would 100 come again!
Jacqueline
Ribble View was great warm and comfortable with good quality furniture and fittings and a lovely landscape view. The owner left a very nice welcome box for us. The hot tub was brilliant. I felt a bit guilty for some paw marks by the door but couldnt find a floor wipe or anything to clean them up with. Sorry about that. Would definitely be happy to stay again and to recommend to others.
A first class property, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Super welcome pack on arrival. Very pleasant situation with nice views across the fields. Although the place was dog friendly, our pets could not be let off the lead as the outside area was not secure. Apart from that aspect, full marks to the property in every respect
The cottage was in a lovely peaceful setting. It was very modern, well equipped and the jacuzzi tub was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitey stay again when next in the area.
A very attractive cottage just over a year old with great views over the Ribble. Good walks straight from the property. All mod cons including hot tub. The only improvement I could suggest is the WiFi which is often flakey. Dont know if that is down to available coverage or system capacity.
Brilliant cottage.
Ribble View is a delightful property. Spotlessly clean, very warm and comfortable even on a rainy day! with beautiful views from the living room and more importantly the hot tub! Very restful stay with the peaceful countryside all around. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and hope to return again next year.
Great views, top notch facilities with a beautiful kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Ribble view.

This holiday was one of the best ever. The cottage was first rate in every way. In beautiful surroundings. Plenty of lovely walks and drives out. The Brown Cow pub which is in the cottage booklet is first class with a wonderful menu. The whole holiday was fantastic. Thank you.
Amazing property! Super relaxing, clean, comfortable. The area is absolutely stunning, love the look out over the hills and such a cute farm to enjoy watching from the hot tub. So close to biking tracks and walking tracks which was perfect for us. Close to everything you need on a holiday. Everyone was so lovely and even spoke with the people camping, clearly they come back often and everyone is so lovely its like a community. Couldnt recommend this place enough!

We loved our stay at Ribble View, its spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location. We watched lambs playing in the field in front of the window, wild deer and hares. The owners had left a very generous welcome pack and fresh flowers on the table. We will definitely be back and have already recommended to others. My only suggestion would be something on the gate to stop smaller dogs being able to squeeze under. I have a cocker spaniel and she managed to get under the gate to say hello to another dog while we were sat in the hot tub so we had a soggy, embarrassing dash in our swimmers across the caravan field to get her. We didnt want to leave her inside on her own so it did mean we couldnt fully relax while we were in the hot tub. But such a small detail and didnt take anything away from our wonderful stay.

Very comfortable and stylish barn conversion in a lovely part of the world. The local villages, pubs and walks were great for little trips out before relaxing in the hot tub. The cottage had everything we could need though the corner sofa was a little awkward for sitting together or watching the tv
Gillian
Beautiful cottage in a brilliant location. Has everything you need for a relaxing time away!
