Absolutely wonderful barn to stay in. X beds so comfortable and log burner made the stay so cosy. Everyone especially liked the hot tub and the games room. Outside countryside spectacular .The hosts were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others

Everything about stay at Ox Hey Barn was perfect. We stayed over Christmas and they had a couple of nice Christmas trees up and it felt really homely. The separate bar was great too, always warm and cosy with a good pool table and darts. The hot tub was really clean and larger than we had expected. The bar and outside area has a sound system that can be used inside, outside or both which was nice with the outside lights on too. Just a really lovely stay. Thanks so much.

Quite simply the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Perfect for our group of 9 with every facility and more that we could have asked for. Set in an incredible landscape with so much to see and do both locally and further away in the Lakes and Yorkshire. Our week was blessed with perfect weather, which definitely helped us explore more, but coming back to the cottage was an absolute pleasure every time. Very highly recommended by a very happy family.

A wonderful weekend of relaxed celebrations for my daughters forthcoming wedding. Ox Hey Barn was perfect for the occasion the accommodation and location were amazing. All guests commented on the comfort of the beds and how well they slept. The views in every direction and surrounding countryside were spectacular. We enjoyed the use of the external areas the games barn, hot tub & outside seating, and were blessed with great weather, mainly sunshine but also enjoyed watching a distant storm one of the evenings. We even had a fly past by the Red Arrows to celebrate our event! The property owners live close by, and are contactable and on hand if needed, but we did not feel that we were disturbing them at any point. We definitely hope to return again to this wonderful property.

Lovely spacious property in idyllic surroundings. We were fortunate to have sunny weather so made good use of the outdoor space, well equipped with comfortable garden furniture, stunning views and a hot tub used by three of our group. Would highly recommend the Spread Eagle for meals or a drink in Sawley, near the river, a short drive away or walk across the fields which for our group of 70 in age took about 50 minutes. The abbey nearby was worth a visit although the information boards are now impossible to read. Alistaire,the owner is on hand if you need anything. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great Christmas at the barn. It was everything we had hopedfor. The hosts were excellent. Very friendly and obliging.

The location was beautiful and the hosts were very accommodating. We have the best time. My only one criticism was that there is not enough seating area round the fire for 10 people.

We had a wonderful week in the Ox Hey Barn which was a family holiday of 3 generations. The house was beautiful and the views are incredible. Had a great week at Ox Hey Barn to celebrate my 70th birthday. Facilities were excellent and our family all said the beds were very comfortable.Had great weather the first few days and the children had great fun in the hot tub and playing on the lawn, also made good use of the games room.Would recommend the Spread Eagle pub in Sawley where we had an excellent lunch before returning home.Hope to return in the future for other celebrations.Thanks Ally and Zoe.

A beautiful property in a stunning setting, so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Facilities were amazing, hot tub and the games room outside a fantastic addition to the fantastic property. Plenty of space for a group of 8, very comfortable beds spacious rooms and bathrooms. Fantastic cottage with more than everything you need, the pictures almost don't do it justice. The beds are also very comfortable! The surrounding areas is lovely and there's a nice walk to the Spread Eagle pub which has good food and good beer! The owner was really helpful and friendly too. We're already thinking about booking again!

Beautiful house in the countryside. Its fully stocked, there is nothing missing. Rooms are spacious, games room fab, hot tub a lovely treat and the fire on a winters night is a delight! Cleaners do a fantastic job, its spotless. A big thank you to the the owners who are on hand if you need any help. They are friendly, helpful and lovely.

The property had everything you need for a week away. The directions were clear and the owners were friendly and helpful. The views were great and the wildlife around the house were very interesting.

Lovely property with comfortable, homely features which allowed for a cosy weekend in the cold weather. The heat was on often so kept the accommodation super warm which was needed with the snow! Loved the hot tub experience and the rooms all having an ensuite to a highspec was ideal for guests. Communication from Ally was fantastic. Would definitely stay again and recommend to those wanting a quiet, relaxing stay!

Even better in person, the fire going and prosecco chilled on arrival was a nice touch. Lovely house and the games room was a great addition. Nice walks to pubs either side of the house aswell so ideal. Thanks again!!

We had a brilliant week in the house everyone was relaxed and enjoyed it,yes I would stay there again the games room for the kid was a great place for them to enjoy, the hot tub we all enjoyed, the walks were nice the vues were lovely, very comfortable house nice and worm,bedrooms very comfortable,plenty of space for us all.

Absolutely great and well equipped place to stay. Only improvement would be to provide towels, when you hire a lovely place people generally expect towels as a minimum.

The barn was lovely, clean, spacious and great location. I feel the pictures dont do the barn justice and its a lot bigger and nicer than shown. Games room brilliant for separate entertainment. Love that its in a secluded spot so we didnt have to worry about the children as there were gates and walls to enclose the property. Not far to travel for some great days out which we enjoyed Bolton Abby, Malham cove, Pendle hill sculpture trail, skipton, steam train and lots more. Also visited The Bull pub 10 mins down the road where the food is lovely.

A beautiful, well equipped cottage with the games room in a separate building. The views are amazing and it is the perfect setting for a group getaway. Couldnt recommend this place highly enough!

We had a wonderful weekend at Ox Hey Barn celebrating my friebds hen do. It was perfect for a chilled girlie weekend, with everything we could have ever needed or wanted. The rooms and main living space are absolutely gorgeous alongside the beautiful views of the country side around you. The hosts were also brilliant, great communication and able to pop in straight away if we needed help with anything. Thanks for a great stay, would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at Ox Hey Barn. The property was immaculate with everything you needed. The location was stunning and even better to be surrounded by lambs. We definitely return.

What a fantastic barn in an idyllic location with great views of Pendle hill at the front and uninterrupted countryside views elsewhere. Easily located off the A59, we visited during lambing season and had the pleasure of awaking to see hundreds of lambs roaming free in the neighbouring fields each morning. We booked the cottage as a place to celebrate with family and friends before and post our wedding in the Ribble Valley. Ally and Zoe are great hosts, and were very responsive and accommodating prior to and during our stay at Ox Hey Barn. The facilities are second to none, with the separate games room, outdoor hot tub and garden furniture being the biggest hit with our guests. With a large kitchen, BBQ and excellent sound system, it was a great place to relax, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a similar acommodation.

Great property. Ideal for our family celebrations. Big enough for our 3 families. Hot tub, games room and Wii snug went down a treat with both adults and kids. Great views too! Very friendly owners Alistair and Zoe live next door.

We had an amazing week at Ox Hey Barn. The barn has everything you could possibly need. All rooms very comfortable was like home from home. The outdoor space hot tub and games room were all lovely. Views amazing and a lovely 35 mins walk to the local pub at Sawley. Ally the owner was most helpful and answered any queries immediately.would definitely recommend and will hopefully we going again. I agree that maybe a couple more seats in the lounge area would be nice but we used the bean bags which were more than adequate. We were a family ranging from 2 to 60 and it catered for everyone. The photos although good dont do it justice its even better.

Absolutely stunning house. Very spacious and perfect for a large group. The owners have thought of everything and it makes the stay so much more enjoyable. We stayed for a week and loved every second. We used hot tub and games room everyday and were lucky enough to have sunny weather so used the BBQ too. The location is fab. You can take a 30 minute walk to Sawley and the local pub The Spread Eagle. Its a 10 minute drive from Clitheroe which has supermarketspubscafestakeaways etc. Skipton is a 30 minute drive away and has some amazing restaurants. A must see for us was Malham Cove which took 30 minutes by car. The house itself is situated on the Ribble Way trail and the walksscenery are spectacular. Our only suggestions are that it would of been handy if the accommodation provided bath towels and robes. As well as some new dartspool cue for the games room.

I booked Ox Hey Barn to celebrate a special Birthday for my Husband, together with our daughters and their families including 5 children aged 2 to 15yrs. To say we had an amazing time would be an understatement. The accommodation was even better than expected. Despite the mostly openplan ground floor area the house was exceptionally warm and welcoming with top quality fixtures and fittings. The log burning stove in the lounge area, that had been lit just prior to our arrival, immediately made us feel at home. The 5 x ensuite bedrooms with comfortable beds all made up with luxury hotel quality bedlinen ensured we had a great night's sleep. The kitchen and dining hall were very well equipped and the large TV, Bose sound system and free WIFI were great additions that worked well in fact better than our WIFI at home!. The children also enjoyed the additional TV, entertainment system and DVD player on the large landing area, complete with bean bags to lounge on. The location is perfect allowing little ones to run around safely and without disturbing anyone. We all enjoyed bracing walks in the nearby fields and, on return, warmed up in the oversized hot tub just a few steps from the house. Benefitting from dry though chilly weather during our stay, we also made good use of the BBQ. The children old and young probably enjoyed the games barn best with pool table, dart board and other family favourites. The bar area, including a freezer and chiller for beers and ice, was very welcome and the additional WC meant that players didn't need to return to the main house for hours at a time! Overall Ox Hey Barn has been thoughtfully designed and very well appointed. We all adored it and can't wait to return. A big thank you to our hosts for communicating with us so nicely and swiftly and for the extra touches that helped make the weekend so special!

Stayed as a group of 10 for our friends 40th birthday. The barn is absolutely out of this world! The views are stunning and the whole place is just top notch! We had a wonderful time! The only negative was getting taxis on the Saturday evening too a restaurant we had booked the taxi company couldnt find us so two of our friends had too drive but this isnt any way a reflection on the barn at all its just were it is is a little remote so it is a bit difficult too find! The owner Ali was great and the bottle of Prosecco and chocs on arrival were a lovely touch! Overall a 1010 stay and we would love too go back! Caroline

We had a wonderful week at the barn despite experiencing two major storms! The owners were extremely helpful and the accommodation itself was beautiful. There was plenty of space for the 11 of us and the hot tub and games room was a wonderful addition to the property. A holiday highlight was hot tubbing in the snow and then warming up by the huge log burner! To make the stay that little more comfortable would be additional seating in lounge area. Otherwise a fantastic, memorable holiday!

Wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings with friends and family. We had some issues with the heating on arrival but the owners sorted it out as soon as we mentioned it and they were very helpful. Our stay couldve been improved if there was additional seating or an extra sofa in the living area as not enough for everyone to be comfortable. There were nine of us in total. The hot tub and the games room were great additions and the bedrooms were lovely and the beds were extremely comfortable. We all loved the barn and surrounding area and would definitely lreturn. Highly recommended.
