Homewood is a massive, five-bedroom country lodge in Forton, Lancashire that'll make your jaw drop when you walk in. Ridiculously spacious rooms mean you won't be tripping over each other, even with ten people staying. The property sits in gorgeous countryside with friendly horses peeping over from the neighboring field - perfect for your morning coffee view.

Located just 3.5 miles from Garstang and near the stunning Forest of Bowland, this place gives you proper countryside without being in the middle of nowhere. The Pattern Arms pub is less than a mile away (though watch yourself walking - no footpaths). Canal walks are right on your doorstep and you're only 30 minutes from Blackpool if you fancy some seaside action. The location is bloody brilliant for exploring Lancashire without the tourist crowds.

The accommodation is properly impressive. There's a master double with en-suite, two additional doubles, a twin room and a ground-floor twin with en-suite (great for anyone who hates stairs). The kitchen is the heart of the house - open-plan with dining and sitting areas. There's also a separate sitting room with a woodburning stove for cozy nights and a games room that'll save your sanity if it rains.

Fancy some days out? Visit the Forest of Bowland (15 minutes), explore historic Preston with Avenham Park (25 minutes), hit Blackpool for seaside fun (30 minutes), or head to Morecambe (35 minutes) for coastal views. The Lake District is within striking distance too - Windermere's only about an hour away.

Homewood is perfect for big family gatherings or mates' weekends. The hot tub is an absolute winner - nothing beats a glass of fizz under the stars after a day exploring. Just bring extra towels if you're hot tub fiends!
