Stephanie
We had a fantastic week and really enjoyed ourselves. The Hot tub was a huge hit with everyone. The sofa bed mattress is a bit thin even with the topper so would bring another topper with us next time and a bottom sheet. We would love to return here next time we are looking in this area.

Beautiful location. Adequately equipped with everything you needed. Warm and comfortable. Hot tub just perfect. Gift of fresh eggs a nice touch. Only one little moan which didn't stop us enjoying ourselves once we got over it! Maybe a sliding door instead of curtain for the bathroom area for privacy as our 14 Yr old Grandson was with us and he found it a bit awkward so maybe not suitable for teenagers but he did enjoy the hot tub and our meal out in Chipping at the Sun Inn.
This shepherds hut was perfect for a weekend adventure with our two children aged 2 & 5. The hut is really warm and cosy with all you need, We loved the hot tub and the owners showed them all the farm animals which was so lovely. Its in a beautiful peaceful area with loads to do in the surrounding area.

We loved our stay at Hillcrest Shepherds hut. As a family of 5 its not always easy to find accommodation to suit us but this was a lovely little cabin with absolutely everything we needed. It was well maintained and very cleverly thought out to maximise the space. It had lots of lovely little touches many of them hand built by the owners. The hot tub was clean, warm and easy to use with lovely views of the surrounding areas. As a working farm there were plenty of animals around including goats and horses and we were greeted with a bowl of freshly collected chicken eggs on arrival. The kids had a fantastic time and the friendly host was happy to tell us about some family friendly activities in the local area. Clitheroe castle museum and the wild boar park were particular highlights. We also had a great meal at Tillys in nearby chipping.

Lovely shepherd's hut. We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was lovely and bed really comfy. We would have preferred a microwave, to a full oven, but it did have everything you needed. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely quiet holiday retreat. Very clean and cosy, having the hot tub was a real bonus and being on the farm around the animals was amazing. Stunning views from the accommodation and lots of accessible walks of varying levels right on your doorstep. highly recommend and Im sure well return.

We loved staying in the shepherds hut, it was so clean and had everything you need. Hot tub was fantastic and there were a few nice little local walks you can do. My daughter especially enjoyed having a ride on the pony! Lovely couple of little village pubs also about a 3 min drive. Hopefully be back sometime later in the year!

Everything was perfect, had such a lovely stay and will definitely be coming back, thank you
This was our first holiday away together and we went for his 30th Birthday. We couldnt of been happier, we enjoyed every second of our experience. Such a lovely location on the back of the owners farm, we really enjoyed watching the horses have the run of the field and seeing all the other animals too. It has such a lovely view from the shepherds hut and the hot tub. Lorraine and Stephen were very welcoming and brought us a bowl of fresh eggs which we really appreciated. There were also some lovely walks around which we would love try more of. We will definitely be booking up again and recommending this place to everyone we know.

Myself and two friends loved staying here for our joint birthday. Stephen was very welcoming and brought us fresh eggs. Facilities are great, surroundings are amazing and we are definitely going to book to go back. I totally recommend this place we had a great time.
Lovely accommodation with all facilities provided to enjoy a great short break. Owners are welcoming and friendly without being over bearing. Fresh eggs were a welcome delicious gift too!! The hottub was a welcome relax after a walk up the fell and perfectly positioned for privacy and sunshine in the evening. Definitely one to go back to again
I would give them 10 if I could! We made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, the little girl was so sweet and was assured if we needed anything they would help! We stayed Friday Monday! The horses & sheep was a bonus for me as I love animals! We received eggs from the chicken which were the best! The hut was bigger then we thought, all cooking essentials. Sainsbury is a 10 minute drive if needed. We will definitely be back and recommend you to all our friends & family x
Lovely Shepherds Hut, amazing location and the hot tub was a brilliant extra! Fresh eggs supplied to us, and the owners were so helpful and could not do enough. Will definitely be revisiting!
Excellent place to stay, lovely location and made to feel very welcome by the owners. Didn't need to contact them during our stay but I'm sure they'd have been on hand if needed. The facilities in the property are just as in the pictures and it was really cosy. Opening the door in the morning to the view of Parlick Fell was great and listening to the lapwings zoom around outside made it feel very relaxing.
We loved our stay in our Shepherds hut. The hot tub was a real reward following a day if walking watching the colours of Parlick Hill changing with the sunset. Lorraine & Stephen were great and the fresh farm eggs for breakfast were a lovely treat.
The Hut is in a beautiful location and has been designed perfectly. We were a party of five and managed well in the space. We were very warm and comfortable Would highly recommend.
