Our stay was really lovely! The lodge was super clean and well equipped, with comfy beds and stunning views from the outdoor decking. The kids loved having smart TVs and good wifi, plus the board games were a bonus. The enclosed garden made our dogs happy too. Location was perfect for exploring lakes and nearby shops. We honestly could have stayed longer and can't wait to visit Kirkby Lonsdale again - such a pretty village with lovely walks!

We stayed at this gorgeous lodgeand honestly, it's a real gem! The setting is so peaceful and stunning, perfect for unwinding. The place is thoughtfully decorated and equipped with everything you might need, making our stay super comfy. It's a bit of a trek to get there without a carand you do have to walk along a country road without a proper path, so keep that in mind. Still, it's just a short drive to Kirkby Lonsdale and Windermere. We'd definitely come back if we get the chance!

Wow, we loved it! Everything you need is thereand the garden with security is perfect for dogs. The views from the balconies are truly breathtaking, super peaceful - we can't recommend this place enough!

The cottage was really beautiful, the beds so comfortable and facilities/equipment excellent. The outside terrace overlooking the quarry lake was really gorgeous, very peaceful. Felt at home immediately and will be booking again.

This lodge is amazing! It is extremely well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The welcome basket is the best we have ever received and is the perfect start to the holiday. The outdoor furniture and bbq truly make this outdoor living in the summer months and if its raining there is a comfortable sofa and a TV with sky and Netflix! The views are beautiful over the diving lake and as well as watching the wild life you can watch the very brave swimmers. Great lodge in a great location!

Lovely generously proportioned space, lovely comfy, super king beds and fabulous showers. I loved the open glassed windows that pull right back, making the outdoor space link with the indoors space. The deck area was wonderful and where we hung out most weekend between the lounge furniture and hot tub. We didn't need to go out we had wonderful view s and a very comfortable spot - Fabulous for a lovely relaxing break. Would definitely book again.

No. 8 Higher Clearwater is one of eight cottages at the site. This cottage is exceptional regarding location and comfort; walk in and it has a warm and welcoming feel. The description on the Cottages website is accurate, but also there is a dog cage if needed plus a box of extras for the dog, such as towels blankets and toys and the site is secure. The best recommendation I can make is: it is like house sitting in a very upmarket family home.

Beautiful house and has everything you could think of. Bedrooms are a great size and beds are very comfortable. There was 4 of us and we had a fantastic week and would definitely recommend
