reason for poor review,i payed over a £1000 for this holiday and defo wont book it again

This house is not 3 star. There are pros and cons. You could say its value for money if full to capacity. The beds and bedding are clean. The hot tub is a hit if you like them. The dining table is lovely. However, there are many light bulbs missing, broken or missing window blinds, few toilet rolls and the dregs of liquid soap in some bathrooms not all. The kitchen has dirty black tape on several floor tiles and the massive orange, industrial type bin in the garage smelt vile. The garage is full of old cases, paint tins etc. The description on cottages.com site states that there's an electric fire, tumble dryer washing machine welcome pack and parking for 4 cars. There isn't. There's a broken washing machine in the garage and 2 cars could squash in at the front of the house. It's a real shame as some of these quibbles were highlighted by guests back in 2021! Some paint , elbow grease in cleaning and decent blinds and fixtures would make this a great property.

The house is quite tired and needs some TLC but the location, hot tub, pool table is excellent.The knife and forks are low and there was moldy tomatoes left in the fridge on our arrival.The hot tub needed to be refilled early as it wasn't up yo temperature on our first night which was disappointingThe toilet by the beer fridge room can smell of drains after a couple of flushes.It has a perfect view, loved the balcony and dining room. Excellent base for a girls weekend away.
