Inglemead Reviews

We had an amazing stay here over the weekend with a large group of 15 adults and 2 dogs. The property was perfect for our needs, spacious, comfortable, and really well equipped for a big group. Everyone had plenty of room to relax, and the layout made it easy for us all to spend time together while still having our own space. The house was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a great weekend away. The outdoor space was also a big hit, especially for the dogs who loved having room to explore. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, and everything was straightforward and well organised. Its not always easy to find somewhere that comfortably accommodates a group this size, but this place worked brilliantly. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a group getaway and would happily stay again!

Our large family group stayed here for the Xmas week and had a fabulous time Plenty of space, comfy beds, lots of hot water and the house was warm and cosy with some Xmas decorations too. The hot tub was very popular and it was great to get in after a long walk along the beach which is just a few minutes away Lots of handy little shops nearby and the little Asda at the petrol station 2 mins walk away was even open on Xmas day for emergency milk ! We only managed to get a couple of our large cars on the drive but there is plenty of street parking available Janet was very attentive and on call if we needed her Loved it highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed a large family gathering in this beautifully appointed house. When the need arose to contact the owner, Janet, concerning an issue with a shower, she was very helpful and the problem was resolved promptly. Janet also gave us useful tips about local play areas for the little ones.

Wonderful new year break for our family of 15 and dogs, very spacious property and everything you could need for home cooking, we all loved the living room with log burner, lots in the area within walking distance for dining out, lovely butchers and bakery just round the corner, we are already looking at booking again!
This is lovely large property great for family gatherings. Very spacious rooms and very well equipped to make catering easy for a large group. Lovely to have plenty of bathrooms. We were advised to spread out showering to make sure the hot water was sufficient but we didnt have any problems for our group. The separate snug was great if you wanted time on your own, or great for youngsters to have their own space for tv and games. Linens, furnishing etc were all good quality and the property was spotless and well presented. I personally found the mattresses too soft for my liking, but everyone else in the group were happy and comfortable. The property owner was very communicative ahead of our arrival. When we had an isssue at the property she was very responsive and facilitated a solution quickly. We all loved this property and had a great weekend.

Stayed as for a family special birthday party. This house was ideal for a large group of different aged family members. It is comfortable, well equipped and very handy for the town. It has everything you need.

We stayed at Inglemead as a group of 13 adults, one infant, and two dogs, and it was absolutely perfect for our weekend away. All of the bedrooms were really comfortable, and the bathroom facilities, while a little compact at times, were more than adequate for a large group. The shared spaces were excellent especially the large dining table, which was ideal for gathering together, particularly during Storm Amy when we were mostly indoors! The kitchen was also fantastic wellequipped, with goodquality sharp knives a rarity in an holiday cottage! and everything we needed to cook several group meals, including vegetarian, meat, and glutenfree dishes. The air fryer was a brilliant bonus too. The provided baby cot and high chair were both really useful and comfortable for our little one. The only small thing we missed was a cafetiere or teapot for making big batches of tea and coffee in the mornings, but the owner is aware of this. Despite the wild weather making things a bit noisy and draughty at times, the house held up well it was blowing a gale, after all! The driveway was very handy and fit three cars comfortably, though it is worth noting that its on the narrower side. Our host was super friendly, responsive, and attentive throughout our stay, which made everything easy and enjoyable. Overall, Inglemead was a wonderful base for our group comfortable, wellequipped, and ideal for a cosy, stormy weekend together.
We had a family celebration & the property worked very well in accommodating us all. Everyone particularly loved the kitchen. And even the hot tub got used! Excellent central location though us two oldies had trouble with our sat navs & finding the place! However the rest of the group 3 families had no trouble at all!
We had a wonderful time with all the family. The house was superb, very comfortable and in tip top condition. Just right for all ages. The hot tub was a great hit! Not too far to walk to the sea and close to amenities. Janet, our host, was very attentive at all times, checking in that we were okay.

Just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay at Inglemead House which we shared with all our family. The house is really lovely, everything perfect, hot tub was great, grand children especially loved it, perfect with the weather being so hot was able to just chill in the private garden. Janet who owns the house is always on hand should you need anything she just wants to make everyone's stay as nice as possible. Can't recommend Inglemead enough, the whole house is absolutely beautiful, Janet has really taken such care making it an amazing stay at her house as possible. Thanks again Janet

Suzanne
Inglemead is a fabulous property with everything you could possibly need. Every room was spotless and with so many different rooms to choose from our large group had a really comfortable stay. The hot tub was a hit and the garden was a lovely sun trap. There is plenty of seating both in the living room and dining room for large groups. The host was available if needed and was very helpful.
We had a fabulous stay at Inglemede. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. The owner was on hand when we needed a tiny bit of help and very friendly. There were quite a few of us and there was plenty of everything we needed to make it a memorable stay.
Josephine
Had a fantastic stay. The photos dont do the house justice. It was better than expected. Janet the owner is very responsive and dealt with an issue we had straight away. Greek restaurant The Brasserie in Morecambe was amazing need to book as its only a small place Lovely days out in Windermere, Lancaster and Kirby Lonsdale, all within easy reach. Would definitely recommend.
Claire
The house is amazing loads of space, clean, plenty of parking space on drive and on the road. Close to a little park for the kids and walking distance to the beach promenade. Great stay would definitely recommend.
Alison
Great place for large family gatherings in a comfortable, well equipped beautifully decorated house. Owner was very responsive to a couple of small problems we encountered during the week's stay and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time there.
We had a great weekend reunion at this property. 4 family 8adults and 7kids. Accomodation is ample. Plenty of shops and takeaways locally. Kitchen is very well equipped for big groups which is great and not always the case. The Host is very helpful. And the hot tub is a big hit!
The property was clean, tidy, well stocked and well kept. Only one issue which didnt affect the scoring or of our stay was that the dishwasher didnt work and had a fault in it. This didnt affect our stay at all, and we all mucked in with washing up, and my family and I had a fantastic time Thank you so much
Thomas

Lorraine
An absolutely stunning home. ... all the original features but has been decorated so beautifully. The photos on the website do not represent how stunning each and every room. Everything in the kitchen you will ever need for your time away and every room is clean to the highest standard. All our group said their beds were the comfiest theyve ever slept on. Games room is perfect for the kids and the hot tub lovely and warm. Janet the host was so friendly and helpful. If your after a stay with lots of family and friends in morcombe then this house is an absolute must x
Absolutely fantastic house with top quality fixtures and fittings in every room. Beds and quilts were the comfiest we slept in and each room was spotlessly clean. Great kitchen and dining room with a huge table for everyone to get round for a meal. The log burner in the living room made it a lovely cosy place to sit round and relax or you could go outside into the hot tub which was fantastic. All in all a brilliant weekend away in a beautiful house. Highly recommended!!
Absolutely amazing place to stay, couldnt recommend it more the woman who owns it is so kind and friendly. Super comfy beds, new and modern house with great facilities and its so close to the coast.
Lauren

Charlotte
I have never stayed in a holiday home as comfortable, beautiful, and relaxing as this one. The house is very clean and spacious, making it perfect for group vacations. Ideal for young children. Our sixyearold had a good time. Excellent location. A walking distance to the beach and to the shops. Throughout our stay, we felt reassured knowing that the host was always a phone call away in case we needed anything. I highly recommend this property and will definitely go again.
